A SHORT INTRODUCTION TO THE WORKS OF LETMAN
"He is cuckoo about letters, he loves them, so far is certain. He is also one of those fellows who can read a chunky novel in a couple of hours, but that's a different story.
His designs are transparent, leaving room to breathe. Them letters got things to say, they are so clear it tickles your eye and make you blink. What is this colourful craft ?
Letman's letters are curious. His handmade style fits the boundries of typography like a universe on itself by lashing out to illustration, grafitti and graphic design.
Letters are free entities to him. They are clear and cunning.
Together they stand strong."

Here are some really cool YouTube videos to check out!

I could just watch him all day, his handwriting is amazing. The only thing that bothers me is that his website is confusing. It is obviously just a template. It took me a while to understand how it works, but maybe that was just me. He does have amazing artwork though, so I really think you should go check it out

I like the way his website is set up. It is very organized and has an explanation with each project. An explanation of what the project was and what his role was in the project. He has a wide variety of talents working with different kinds of projects. He has done posters, website/blogs, stationary, logos, and many other designs. This website is very professional and informative.

My New Inspiration

Matte Stephens

Lumberjack Breakfast
by Matte Stephen
Matte Stephens is an amazing painter, who did not attend school, but makes a living by what he learned from his dad. What I like about Stephens is that he had the desire to stay with art and do just what his dad did, have two jobs in a way. He has his commercial work, working with IBM, Disney, American Express, Herman Miller, and The Boston Globe just to name a few. And while doing his commercial work he also works on his paintings, has shows and sells his work. His wife helps him be organized with his business.

Death by Typography

This is probably my all time favorite piece of typography and my first inspiration. When I saw this I knew what I wanted to do.
